The Center for Social Economy Support in the subregion of Słupsk and the Center for Non-Governmental Organizations in the EDUQ Association cordially invite you to the conference "Social Economy - Opportunities and Challenges", which will be held on 23 March 2017 in the Town Hall in Lębork, ul. Armii Krajowej 14, at 10:30 in the Rajowe Hall.
The main objective of the conference is to promote the social economy and to exchange thoughts and experiences with regard to the economics of non-governmental organizations, the fight against poverty and socio-occupational exclusion, and the creation of new jobs, thus creating a place conducive to effective social and occupational reintegration in the subregion of Słupsk.
The following issues will be addressed during the conference:
1. What is social economy and why should it be supported on the local level?
2. What role in the local environment is played by Social Economy Support Centers?
3. How can local authorities effectively support solutions in the social economy?
4. What good practices should you take as an example?
Representatives of local social economy, local government and voivodeship authorities and experts in the field were invited to participate in the conference. The conference will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and broaden the knowledge of the social economy as an instrument used to minimize the phenomenon of socio-occupational exclusion.
